Solo-Performance und Recherche mit einem Ausgangspunkt im Klang und der Materialität menschlicher Knochen. Der Performer klopft auf seine eigenen Knochen und erzeugt dadurch Klänge, um einen Teil seines Körpers, der normalerweise unsichtbar bleibt, ins Hier und Jetzt zu holen – und so das Verhältnis zwischen Fleisch und Knochen zu thematisieren. Was bleibt bestehen, und was vergeht im Laufe des Lebens? Was hat Wert – und wer entscheidet, was Wert hat?
Die Arbeit setzt sich mit dem Produktivitätsgebot auseinander, das nicht-europäischen Körpern auferlegt wird. Migrant*innen sind ständig gezwungen, ihren „Nutzen“ unter Beweis zu stellen – sei es durch ihre Arbeitskraft, ihre biologische Reproduktionsfähigkeit oder ihre Leistungen im akademischen oder kreativen Bereich. Es gibt ein Gebot der Selbst-Kapitalisierung: Ein Teil von sich selbst muss in Gold verwandelt werden. Der europäische öffentliche Raum ist nicht wirklich öffentlich, da seine Grenzen durch Zugangs- und Bleiberegeln defi niert sind. Das Visasystem fungiert als koloniales Dispositiv und zieht Linien zwischen „nützlichen“ und „nutzlosen“ Körpern und Denkweisen.
Die Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit Kolonialismus, globalen Machtunterschieden und Rassismus als Unterscheidungsmerkmal. Sie ist beeinflusst von den Schriften von Silvia Rivera Cusicanqui, Walter Mignolo und Guamán Poma de Ayala.

Solo performance and research with a starting point on the sound and materiality of human bones. The performer knocks on his bones, producing sounds to bring to the present a part of his body that remains unseen to address the relation of fl esh and bone. What remains and what fades away while living? What has value, and who decides what value is.
The work addresses the mandate of productivity imposed on non-european bodies. Migrants are expected to constantly give proof of their usefulness, through their productive/performative capacity -be it as working bodies, as biological reproductive force or in academic and creative fi elds. There is a mandate of capitalization of oneself. To take a part of you and turn it into gold. The European public space is not public, since its borders are defi ned by the rules of entry and remaining. The system of visa, as a colonial dispositive, draws lines between useful and unuseful bodies and minds. The work addresses colonialism, global difference of power and racism as marker, and it’s infl uenced by the works of Silvia Rivera Cusicanqui, Walter Mignolo and Guamán Poma de Ayala.
